User profile information can be accessed from the Member Center by clicking the User Information link. The information includes the following:
Login ID
Choose a user ID or nickname that you can use when logging into the system. Since this ID must be unique to all users that login to the system, on heavily utilized systems, you may have to try a few different IDs before the system accepts your choice. If this field is left blank, you will login using your Direct Messaging address (below).
First Name
Type in your first name as it should appear in messages you send.
Last Name
Provide your last name as it should appear in messages you send.
Direct Messaging Address
DataMotion Direct sends messages using your Direct Messaging Address. This Address cannot be changed, and the text field which it corresponds to has been made an un-editable field.
Notification Email Address
You can change the e-mail address that is used by DataMotion Direct for sending notifications regarding your account, which include notifications of receiving new Direct messages.
Password Management
Click the Change Password link next to this heading to access the Change Password screen.
Current Password
Type in your current password for verification.
New Password
Type in the new password of your choice. The new password must meet the requirements that are displayed under the Minimum Requirements heading on the right of the screen.
Verify New Password
Re-enter the password that you just typed in the New Password text field.
Score
This percentage bar tells you how strong your password is from 0 to 100 percent.
Complexity
This section tells you in words how strong your password is.
Minimum Requirements
Your password must meet the requirements that are displayed under this section.
When you have completed the entries to change your password, click the Save button to confirm the change, or click Close to cancel.
